A Cursive Memory-Changes

A Cursive Memory are in the business of cheering people up. Better moods abound, the bright sounding sensations of this band make it somewhat hard to be sad while listening to them.

One part Get Up Kids, one part Taking Back Sunday, one part current popular pop rock, this is a band that seems to be on a traditional path to screaming fans and happy people. The songs have a simplistic feel to them, letting the vocals carry the feeling and emotion. While I enjoy the underused piano/keyboard parts best, the vocals are strong enough to maintain center stage attention.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the little electronic pieces they add here and there, and I'm not a big fan of the drum sound, but I dig this band overall. They're not perfect, but they are on their way to some pretty good stuff.
