Unearth-Darkness in the Light

I kind of stopped keeping tabs of Unearth through the years. Luckily, Drakness in the Light welcomes me back with open arms, sort of. I don't know when they started singing, bit I'm not a fan. They are a band that's good enough to not have to supplement their heavy. They have great riffs, brutal drums, crushing breakdowns and a harsh vocalist. Their songs, heavy as they may be, have a melodic sense to them, which isn't all that common with metal bands. There's no need for any singing. They don't overload the album with singing, but its a road they never needed to take in the first place.
