Fans of grindingly fast, screaming music migiht want to stop reading this review right now and check out something a little softer. Gridlink sounds like an album going through a paper shredder while still playing, and I love every just under 12 minutes of it. The guitar lines are great, fitting in breakdowns, wonderful leads and killer riffs at a near unfathomable speed. The vocals are high pitched without going overboard, fitting in as many words as possible, and the drumming is just amazing. The guy doesn't let up for a second. Even though this album is just under 12 minutes, the guys in this band have put in more of a workout than most bands playing an hour long live set. Gridlink is for people, like myself, that can't get enough fast.
