Killing the Dream-Fractures
Deathwish
June 10, 2008
I'm a big fan of the passion that comes forth in Fractures, which is the main thing that drew me to Killing the Dream in the first place. They play with a furious intensity that doesn't let up until the stereo stops. The songs are fast and in your face, featuring ferocous screams (that remind me of The Dedication) and speedy, melodic guitar leads. This album burns by a little too quickly, although they end on a completely high note with "Resolution," wrapping up a full on onslaught of a modern hardcore album.
