This has been a pretty great year overall, though the music wasn't as great as in past years. There was some wonderful releases, but I'd call 2011 a ho hum year overall. Next year promises to be great, but this is a look back at the past 12 months. While writing this, I realized that there were more strong releases than I thought, and here they are.
