Streetlight Manifesto is a fun band that even people who don't like ska can enjoy. This interview was conducted on June 4, 2005 at The Living Room.

PL: Introduce yourselves.

CT: I'm Chris Thatcher and I play drums.

MB: Mike Brown. I play baritone.

CP: I'm Chris Pazsik and I play bass.

PL: Are you looking forward to coming out with a new album?

CT: Yeah, definitely.

PL: And when's that coming out?

CT: We don't know.

PL: You haven't started recording it yet?

CP: Brand new album, we're not sure when its gonna come out, but when it does come out, its gonna be really good. I can tell you that much.

PL: Do things get confusing with so many band members?

CP: At times.

MB: I'm confused all the time.

CP: Its not that tough.

PL: Have you ever had trouble fitting all the people on stage at once?

MB: Yes. Absolutely.

CP: Yes, a number of times.

CT: On our first couple tours they were. This one's been good to us.

PL: Whats the best thing you guys do to kill boredom on the road?

CT: Playstation Portable for myself. Thats what I do.

CP: We play baseball-catch.

CT: Yeah, we played catch today.

MB: Hackey sack.

CP: Not clean out the van.

MB: A lot of sitting around, talking about what we're supposed to be doing.

PL: If you could commit one crime and get away with it, what would it be?

CP: I'd say murder because I want to sound hardcore.

CT: Probably something involing receiving a lot of money.

PL: If you had to pick one, would you rather tour by dogsled or horseback?

CP: Dogsled.

MB: Horseback.

CP: No, no, no; horseback. Dogsled means it'd be cold as hell out there.

CT: Have you ever been horse back riding? That stuff hurts your ass.

CP: Yeah, you'd get used to it though. Have you seen those people that do that shit?

CT: You can talk to a dog and he'll understand you. The horse will just-

CP: You can't talk to a dog.

CT: I'd rather get horses with a sled because that means beer.

MB: Drummer, I would like a dog sled.

CP: Horseback.

CT: Faggots (laughter)

PL: Whats a little known fact about New Jersey?

CP: Eggplant and cranberries. (laughter-this leads to some discussion that I couldn't understand)

PL: Whats one movie everyone should see?

CT: Stand by Me.

CP: Thats a good one.

CT: You gotta go see Stand by Me; its a great movie.

MB: "Ya'll ever seen a dead body?"

PL: Name one album, besides your own, that you think all kids should have in their collection.

MB: Grassroots-311.

CT: Miles Davis-Kind of Blue.

CP: Descendents-Everything Sucks (he's right on with that one).

PL: Do you have any final comments?

MB: Final comments: that was the best interview I've ever done.

CP: Ever.

MB: Thank you.

PL: Thank you guys.

CP: That digital recorder is dope.
