This is an interview with Jeremy of We are the Fury, which went down on February 27, 2006 in Providence, RI. It covers a few silly topics, which makes for a decent read.

PL: State an interesting fact about yourself.
WATF: I'm addicted to the show 24.

PL: Can you explain how the whole East West label works
WATF: Its an incubator system through Warner. I'm not entirely sure how it works. We just want to play the music. We're signed through Purevolume's label, so they do most of the stuff for us, like publicity and day to day stuff, and East West does a lot of the radio, advertising. They kind of work as a team.
We liked how it sounded. We just wanted to have a lot of people who liked the band on our side, and who had the same opinions on music that we did and were motivated to work with us.

PL: Mark Hoppus said in Alternative Press that he wants to produce your new album. Whether he does or not, do you think him mentioning your band will make people want to check you out?
WATF: I hope so. Mark Hoppus is one of the guys in Blink 182, and they put out I don't know how many singles and records. We hung out with him, and we think he's a really cool guy. If he does, thats cool, if not-I hope thats not the only reason people like us. I want people to like us for our music, not who talks about us, but I think its awesome that he was saying that.

PL: Whats one thing you enjoy most about touring?
WATF: Getting to party and hang out with awesome people every night. Its like going to a concert every night, and who doesn't like going to concerts? Only, this time, we get to play at the concert.
PL: Do you ever get sick of seeing the same bands every night?
WATF: Not on this tour. Head Automatica is great and Morningwood is great. Camu is amazing.

PL: Name one celebrity you'd like to see naked.
WATF: I want to say Natalie Portman because I think she's super hot, but I feel dirty saying it. I'd feel bad about stuff like that-not bad about seeing her naked, but she seems like a super awesome girl hot, but she's super hot, so why not?

PL: Whats one movie you think everyone should see?
WATF: I just say "Old Boy," which I thought was really cool. Its a Korean movie. Its kind of like a thriller, but really weird. I thought it was pretty amazing. I think people should see "A Clockwork Orange" stoned, because I never did that before, and I did that recently.

PL: Whats a little known fact about Ohio?
WATF: That its not for lovers, like Hawthorne Heights might make you believe.

PL: Whats your favorite Clash song?
WATF: I like "London Calling." Its a good song and it has a cool edge to it.

PL: You're about to get down with a groupie. She takes off all of her clothes, and you see that she has a raging case of herpies. What do you do?
WATF: Um...double wrap it. I don't know. I'd probably have to back away, but if she's really hot, then who knows.

PL: Name one album, besides your own, that you think all kids should have in their collection.
WATF: I'm a huge fan of Mott the Hoople, and I think their CD, The Hoople, is so under rated. Even when it came out, people said that it was not their best CD, but the songs on it are so good. If there's one band in time that we look up to, it'd probably be them. I think everybody should at least listen to it.

PL: Do you have any final comments?
WATF: Come see us at a live show and check us out on online. I hope you like the music. If you do, come check us out live, because its an entirely different experience.
