Charles Bukowski -"Post Office"
Ecco
February 27, 2007

A guy gets a job as a post office temp, drinks enough to make an alcoholic look straight edge, screws more than his fair share of women, gets a permanent job and eventually loses it after 13 years. Sound relatively boring? Now picture the same scenerio except that it was written by Charles Bukowski. That should be simple enough to make you interested enough in giving this, Bukowski's first novel that wouldn't surprise me if there are some autobiographical aspects thrown in there, a read.
